A challenging situation due to changeable weather. The snow plough goes along the main road several times a day but the road can still get blocked in between times! Bring a shovel and blanket for your car engine. Park at the road side in severe conditions, on the hill top when it is milder and be prepared to walk or ski in. It can be a very rewarding experience to stay at the Bothy at this time of year! And the snow is not there all the time.

Be sure to leave clear access along the track at all times.
